“12 steps” to Spring Cleaning

Hello, My name is Cathy and I have clutter

Step 1 Focus on the trash

When I say Trash, what I mean Is the clutter. Things pile up, you clean the house, but two days later it's a wreck again, and you don't know how it happened. Clutter will rob you of the things you enjoy in life. Like me, You feel like you are sinking into the Abis! Like you are suffocating. You MUST organize and purge.

~ Get rid of old clothes! Donate them YOU WILL NOT FIT IN IT AGAIN and if you do it will be so out of style!

~ Throw out mail and paper trash. Shred it if it has important information, if not trash it! Trust me you will get another pizza coupon and bed bath and beyond sends 20% of coupons through email also. Scanners are great for this! Store any important papers on your computer.

~ I suggest, Before you commit to an entire room, start with a few small projects, Like drawers or closets, this will give you a sense of accomplishment when you’re done. Then take on the bigger projects, like your kitchen or garage.

~ Have a yard sale, this is a great way to get rid of things without seeing them just go to the trash. These “things” may have meaning to you and it is pleasing to see that they bring joy to someone else.

Having a yard sale may even put some extra money in your pocket to invest into a home organization system. This will definitely help. When you enjoy the way your space looks esthetically you will be encouraged to implementing the system that you put in place. That is why it is worth it to purchase a storage system that you love not just because Ikea is having a sale on something you can make work for the time being. This is not a solution TRUST ME !
